good evening guys!
I'm about to begin my study for step 2 ck and I'm trying to make a study plan.
Ill definitely study from kaplan lecture notes plus videos and mtb step 2 ck and 3 plus the qbanks that we already know.
my question is;
is it worth it to buy the kaplan notes of 2017 and the new mtbs (4th edition) or there is no big difference with the previous.

I would just stick with your original plan. Questions are your foundation, books are just for reference.
