I wanted to know what people think about Kaplan Anatomy? Is it good or should I stick with a book like High Yield Gross Anatomy?

I've heard that anatomy has been very hard on some of the recent boards and my school did a crap job covering it. I have plenty of time, but I want to know if this will be smart studying. Thanks in advance 🙂

I really liked Kaplan anatomy. With the exception of neuroanatomy (which my school did a great job of covering), I had a really crap anatomy foundation. I did Kaplan first (I think I may have watched a few of the vids with it but they weren't necessary) and then did HY GA later to review. I felt like HY GA had more of a clinical focus than Kaplan did. Kaplan has both, but it is definitely more thorough in terms of helping you fill in holes, remind yourself about stuff you never learned lol, etc.. I do think that the clinical aspect is important (landmarks for LP, thoracentesis, etc.) so I would def do HY GA if you can, but I did Kaplan because it really didn't have enough of the basic anatomy stuff like images of important arteries and their branches and such. I think HY GA assumes that you have a certain anatomy base, which for me was incorrect lol
