Hey guys!

I attempted the practice test in the blue book and I found the PAT ridiculously hard compared to the ADA sample test. I've heard mixed opinions on the difficulty from doing searches on SDN. What do you guys think about the difficulty of the ADA/KAPLAN Blue book? The keyholes and the hole punching were hard for me in the blue book while the angles were extremly easy. The only part that threw me off on the ADA Sample test were the angles.

Thanks!

I haven't done the ADA test (I've done the CDA test) but I can compare Kaplan BB PAT to the real PAT and CDP PAT if you want, here it is:

Keyholes - slightly easier on DAT, slightly easier in CDP
TFE - same difficulty, slightly easier in CDP
Angles - slightly harder on DAT, but easier than CDP
Cubes - same difficulty, a lot easier than CDP
Holes - same difficulty, a lot easier than CDP
Folding -same difficulty, easier than CDP

In general, I found folding/holes/cubes/angles easier on the real PAT since I practiced with CDP. So I highly recommend it.
