Hi everyone,

Somebody is selling the Kaplan books locally, and I wanted to pick them up but I am confused after reading online on the difference between the Kaplan Lecture Notes and the Kaplan Home Study Program? Which ones are the ones everybody on here uses with the Kaplan Videos?

Could somebody please clarify this?

Also, what is the difference between the 09-10 version and the 10-11 version (i.e. what does the cover look like and any text differences)?

Just want to make sure I'm good. Thanks in advance 🙂

lecture notes = yearly updated books corresponding to the videos. 09/10 = green, 11 = brown. Brown has updates, though not too significant (color in path + micro/immuno but these are two of the less useful texts in the series). home study isn't worth your purchase, kaplan's answer to FA divided into different texts (at least that's what i've heard about it).

Do you have any idea what a fair/slightly cheap price would be for a legit set of the 09/10 since they are old?

i have no idea man haha. i bought the online course, didn't like it, called for a refund, and they let me keep the books for free. upperclassmen at my school have sold the whole set for ~100$. i'd be careful since the person is probably going to ask for a lot more than that (since the course was like ~1200$). i guess i'd say anything less than 200 is fair?
