Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a difference in content between the kaplan COMLEX books and kaplan USMLE lecture books. I know the comlex books also come with a book on OMM but is this the only major difference? I'm planning on taking both USMLE and COMLEX next year and want to make sure i'm studying with the right material. I have the 2009 kaplan comlex books, will this be sufficient for the USMLE? Thanks ni advance!

Pretty much. We're going through the Kaplan lectures right now, so we ask all of the speakers this.

For the most part, if you go through the whole book, you're good for both. In lectures, they skip some of the stuff for COMLEX prep, but will just tell you to read those sections if you're taking USMLE.

But so far (with only pharm left), nobody has told us to read extra material.
