I have a question regarding the kaplan course. I'm currently registered to take the DAT on Site course starting this July. I've heard some negative feedback on the actual classes (don't learn much), but I heard the practice questions are really helpful. I'm starting to wonder if the course materials are the same for both DAT on Site and DAT Anywhere (online course) courses, should I not bother with the On Site course as I have to commute 2 + hours to get to the nearest test center? Also, for the practice problems that people say are highly valuable, are you all talking about the problems on the online syllabus, the full length dat practice tests (how many did you have?/ I have a DAT diagnostic, DAT Online Final, DAT Online Midterm, and 3 Full-length practice tests), or problems from the actual class. Because if the practice problems were given out during class, does that mean the On Site course would be better?

dont waste your gas! if you are going to do kaplan at all, take the online anywhere classes. thats what I did and the resources should all be the same that they give you as far workshops, quizzes, tests, etc. 😉

way to go, you will enjoy it. My TA's were Tyler and Ethan, pretty great too! I'm gonna have to retake my DAT, so I suggest that you work super super hard on kaplans stuff and pay attention to word problems and weird math stuff like that because it'll be on the DAT. But, kaplan is very comparable to DAT in my opinion, and I just need more problems to work and learn from, so I'm getting destoyer. good luck!
Thanks for the info. I just have one more question. People have said that the practice problems for the Kaplan course are great/really helpful (apparently over 1000?). What are they specifically talking about? The quizzes/3 practice tests + diagnostic + final? Or are they talking about material that's not listed on the online syllabus?

ya, its those materials they are talking about. Be sure to work hard on them. Getting a good score using kaplan depends on how much you use their stuff and actually practice it. I learned a lot and definitely increased my score by 5 pts from the very beginning of the course. but thats not enough for me, since i got 17AA. =/

Sorry I thought it was widely known that Kaplan any of it but especially is full of it! You could spend half the money and get every resource available! 1/4 of the resources are free!
