Hi. are these still available? what is the diff b/w these and KAPLAN blue book?

Im trying to find some material for DAT EXAM for my friend (Hes coming from Outside of USA). Hes been away from school for years and now he needs sth to study from rather reviews or practice Qs. are these books any good for him?
