Kaplan Full Length 4

I just took Kaplan FL 4 and my score dramatically dropped on all 3 sections, by at least 2 points each. It wasn't just the score my percentage too, it drop more than 25% for each section. My day right now is ruined... I was wondering if anyone else that took this FL found similar trends...I really don't know what happen or what to do now😕😕😕 I was getting 11 and 12s on BS now 8 FML🙁

There are many reasons why you shouldn't be so bummed about doing poorly in Kaplan FL#4:

1. It's only 1 test out of 15+ practice tests that you should be taking to get a good idea of the range/average scores for all sections

2. Only the score on the REAL test counts

3. Your score will be more similar to the AAMC exams then the Kaplan FLs

Kaplan tests are too hard. The only thing that's a good indicator of your capabilities is the BS section.

Verbal is GARBAGE. Don't even worry about this nonsense.

PS is way tougher than AAMC (WAAAAAAAY tougher), which forces many people to guess... which makes doing well a matter of luck.

True you have more control over your PS grade than mere luck obviously, it's still very frustrating.

Do AAMC, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I feel your pain OP. I recently took the full length #4 and found my score drop 4 points. It seems harder that than the previous full lengths and I found myself guessing on a lot of questions. oh well, thats why they are practice exams.

i just took the kaplan full length #4 and scored 2 points lower than the last!! It WAS A NIGHTMARE AND yes I felt like I guessed on everything!!! I have 5 weeks until my exam and am very tired of the discouraging scores from kaplan- I think it's aamc tests from here on out!! You guys are NOT ALONE!!!

Based on my only Kaplan test so far, I thought BS was much harder than PS. I got a 14 on PS and a 12 on BS. Verbal was such crap (got an 8), while I got a 10 on my last AAMC verbal. Kaplan is teh suck.

Agree on the verbal. I've only taken 1 AAMC test so far and got 11 on VR. Have taken 7 Kaplan (moving to only AAMC now that I'm 4 weeks away) and I get either a 9 or a 12. WTF?

Stick to the AAMC tests. From what I'm hearing now, the BS science is a lot more VR like in that you don't need to know too much outside info. Also the PS is bit easier on the AAMC tests. Frickin Kaplan is all about number crunching....

Same thing just happened to me. Huge decrease and ended up getting a 7 in verbal. 2 weeks til my exam I am done with kaplan and only doing AAMC from now on.

I dropped from a 32 on Kaplan FL 3 to a 21 on FL4. So whatever that means.

I've only done one AAMC test so far, but didn't do so hot on it. I'm not quite sure what to think.

I am curious... I have been hearing about Kaplan FLs and have no idea where to get these... are they in Kaplan books? do they give them to you if you take the course? Or is it one of those "you have to show up at a place with a computer to take it" things?
