Kaplan GRE Vocab In A Box

I bought the Kaplan GRE Vocab in a box notecards before taking the GRE last year. I only took approx 20 of them out and looked them over a few times and left the remaining 480 in the box (never touched). The box and cards are in excellent condition, with no bends, tears, damage, or writing on them.


If anyone is interested, I paid $17 for them and would be willing to sell them for $10 via paypal. 🙂

I have this. I need to get rid of it. I don't know how to use paypal lol but if a pre-vet student lives near DC/MD or Philly (moving there July) and wants to pick it up you can! I also have Kaplans top 200 most popular words flash cards, I got these from the Kaplan course i took so i dont think you can find them anywhere.

If someone is willing to drive to me or i guess pay for me to mail it you can have them for free. Id rather someone take them before I throw them way. PM me!

Glad I'm not the only one who did the 'look at a few, never look at them again' bit. I think the first one was 'abase' and that's all I remember.

Probably why my GRE verbal is so low lol.

The major problem I had with the cards was they were so very flimsy. Any that you took out were pretty much immediately bent and wouldn't fit back into the box without a lot of coaxing. Given that I'm innately lazy, having to work to study just wasn't cutting it.

I'll take 'em. They worked well for me last time, and I only made it halfway through. They were borrowed so I had to give them back and I don't see that person anymore...

hmm thats odd, my cards are definitely hard. i took them out all the time and studied them a lot. i still did bad on my verbal haha but i rearranged these cards into multiple groups for a month and i was able to fit them back in the box afterwards. I dont think any of mine even got bent at all because they are so hard. we must have different versions or something

I sold these cards to the first person who contacted me, and just received payment for them. I had a lot more people show interest in them than I had expected! I hope the rest of you are able to get a set of them too. 🙂 Thanks!!

Do you think they update the words each year? I got the box from last year and am retaking the gre again and I was thinking of getting a new vocab box.

Not so professional but I put vocab onto 1/4 size index cards for GRE (mostly from princeton review's lists but some other sources as well). Probably about 1000 words or so. Helped me get an amazing verbal score (760) and worked for my wife (730) as well! So if anyone wants them I am just going to dump them before I move.

Just PM me, if you send me a pre-paid envelope I will mail out for free. Or cupcakes. I always accept baked goods.
