Kaplan Midterm Breakdown

I know a lot of people have asked where they stand with the kaplan midterm score, but I was wondering if all of you could help me break it down. I've heard the sciences are harder in kaplan and so is the math. Does this go for all bio, chem, and gchem? Also, I've heard PAT is easier in kaplan, but is this all of the sections or just some of the PAT? And RC, is kaplan easier as well?

Here are my scores for the Midterm:

AA - 19.4 something
Bio - 19
Gchem - 18
Ochem - 18
TS - 18.4
PAT - 23
RC - 22
QR - 18

I thought I wouldve done worse on the science as I feel I need a lot more work on Gchem and Ochem. The QR was really hard for me. And also PAT, I missed most of my points on T.F.E. Anyone have any tips for that particular section? Also, is the test format the same as the real DAT?

Anyone have any input for me? im actually really worried about QR. i was always somewhat good at math, but now im thinking its pretty hard. i think with the time constraint i really didn't use the techniques taught in kaplan for solving the problems...i was so overwhelmed. so yea...also T.F.E., can anyone offer any type of advice for this??? All I know to do is count events and correspond them with the missing view. But that rarely narrows it down? Any other tips for this?

dude don't sweat it, the midterm QR is ridiculously hard. 18 is pretty good...i ended up gettin a 13 on the midterm QR and that was the lowest i had ever gotten by 5 or 6 points. besides, the midterm doesn't really help predict how you'll do on gameday because its intended to scare the crap out of you and get you to work harder. my advice is to keep truckin', go beyond the kaplan stuff and stop trying to use their test scores to predict how you'll do.

I don't want to repost so I thought I'd bump...

How would you guys compare Kaplan to the DAT? RC seems pretty straight forward on kaplan...is it like that on the DAT too? and is ALL of the PAT considered easy on kaplan..or just certain sections? and science...kaplan is harder? easier? and qr?

I think the RC on the real DAT was easier than Kaplan. The PAT however wasn't like Kaplan, it was definately more challenging, I would say if your practice with Achiever and Topscore it will prepare you for the PAT. As for science I used Kaplan, Topscore, and Achiever and I felt kaplan was alright for the chems but for the bio I got the most out of achiever. Keep in mind Topscore and Achiver overprepares you for science, so if you can do those questions, the science on the real thing is a breeze, i finished the science portion in 60 minutes!
