so i just bought the Kaplan OAT 09-10 book. and most of the book was practice sets and explanations of the answers. im really worried now. are you suppose to just study off the explanations? i mean you cant just study off of these answer explanations. there's so many more types of questions they could be asking. im not sure how to do this. please help. 😕

It really depends when you plan on taking your exam.

ill have a couple of months to get prepared for it. i've been reading that its a computer based now. so you can take it year around. im havent looked into the scheduled dates for the test yet though. not sure how. im fairly new to this.

Since you have lots of time. I would advise you to print out the list of topics covered on the OAT from the ASCO website here: https://www.ada.org/oat/oat_guide.pdf
And go through every topic by reading the corresponding chapter in a textbook. Once you have done that first, then start answering some questions from the kaplan book and then read the answers ( make sure to answer the questions first).
