Kaplan online simulated tests.

Hey everyone
I just got done doing a Kaplan online test from there website (the ones that simulate the real test not paper one). Here are my scores:

Academic Average 21.63
> Survey of Natural Sciences 19.90
- Biology 19
- General Chemistry 20
- Organic Chemistry 21
> Reading Comprehension 21
> Quantitative Reasoning 24
Perceptual Ability Test 22

Are these tests deceptively easy because I know I have not been getting these relatively high (for me) science scores on the subject tests? I am not complaining or anything but I just don’t want to be overconfident when taking the real DAT. I know my pat score will drop but will any others when I take the real test?

The above was for online practice test 1. i got this in practice test 2:

and averaging a 21 on your test why do you even ask for advice 😕

it never hurts to ask for advice. and these are practice test not he real thing so i dont want to be all like i am going to ace this test and find out that these practice test did nothing to prepare me.

The kaplan tests are fairly accurate and your scores are actually likely to go up slightly for all sections except the PAT where you will likely drop a point or two. However, some practice tests may by chance focus on areas where you are stronger in while you may get other tests where you don't score as well because it has more questions on an area you are not has confident. Looks like your DAT preparation is going great - your focus should now be to see where you are weakest in each section and review those areas more in your Kaplan book and/or your college text books.
