Hey everyone, I've seen some things around other posts but they tend to be fairly old so I wanted to bring this up.

I'm studying for Physics with Kaplan 5th ed. stuff and it just seems incredibly hard. Course that could be me as well. Anyway, those of you who have taken the OAT, what did you think of the physics section and how it compared to the Kaplan stuff? Harder/ Easier?

I've got the Physics Destroyer as well, and same question as above. Harder/ Easier?

I appreciate any feedback because this Kaplan physics stuff is really discouraging. I'm okay with it being overkill if that means I'm going to do a lot better on the actual test.

I have not taken the OAT and I was hoping someone would reply to this thread. However, I wanted to let you know I find Kaplan physics to be discouraging as well. I also have the Physics destroyer and it is even harder than Kaplan physics. Just wanted to let you know you weren't alone! For perspective, I graduated undergrad with a 3.9 and got an A in phys I and a B in phys II. However, I am a little older and took those classes in 2007. It is possible that I am a bit rusty but I have spent the last 2.5 months studying for the OAT and a lot of that was spent on physics. Someone please reply to this question! 🙂

I used Kaplan to study for physics and thought it was very difficult. I ended up getting a 310 in physics on my actual OAT and I never took physics II. If you took physics II you should be fine.

What were you getting on Kaplan physics practice exams?

I'm curious because I'm getting like 240 on Kaplan but I also took a Princeton Review Physics test and got a 310. It seems like Kaplan has to be harder than what you'll see on the exam.
