Are the kaplan online practice tests using the same interface as the real dat? I took a full length test at kaptest.com. I thought i would have to click through all gen chem sections to get to organic chemistry, but i was able to use the review item button to skip directly to the oc questions. I didnt think it was like that on the real test.

So my question is, on the real test is it possible to skip within a section from question 41-71 without having to do a barrage of clicking?

well, personally im more worried about scrolling and clicking than answering questions. haha. no, i just want to know if u can use the review item feature at anytime during the test, or just when u get to the end?

You do have to click on each question (i.e. the "next" button) you want to skip, and then go back by clicking the "previous" button. I've said it before and I guess I'll say it again here - that strategy is really inefficient. You are more than welcome to try, but personally I think that doing so leaves you open to needless error. If you must mark a question, check an answer. That way if you run out of time you at least have a shot at getting it right. Sooner or later you'll have to stare down that section that brings you grief so just plow on through the exam. If you have logged sufficient study time and are familiar with the layout of the DAT and its screens, which are nearly identical to Topscore, then you'll be just fine.
