Kaplan QBank Micro Questions

Hey Guys,

I'm About 3 weeks into Step 1 Review and have been using both Kaplan and U-World. I get my butt kicked on the Kaplan micro Q's (34%), but do better on U-World (65%). Granted, they're both a small sample size, did anyone else notice Kaplan being much harder? Did Either Qbank seem closer to the real thing than the other?

The vector questions in Kaplan are killing me. Having to know the species of tick.... really....

Kaplan micro questions seemed exceedingly low yield to me. UWorld was much closer to the 2 NBME's I've taken, and other comments here lead me to believe it is closer to the USMLE as well. I started a thread on just this issue a couple of months ago - the consensus was pretty much "ignore Kaplan micro."

I hope y'all are right. I am really sucking on kaplan micro, and I've been through micro in First Aid twice! Hopefully my step will have easier micro on it, or I am completely screwed...
