Technology Kaplan USMLE lectures on iPod

I am planning to use the Kaplan USMLE lectures on DVD, but I hate carrying my laptop back and forth to the library. I am wondering if anyone has any experience watching these on an iPod. Would I be able to convert the videos and upload them to the video-enabled iPods, or are these only for watching the videos you can buy on iTunes?

if you're good with converting the file types you should be able to do this I would imagine.

If you can rip it from the DVD (which you can with the right app), you can convert it to whatever format you need with Quicktime Pro. I'm sure there is a freeware converter somewhere, to keep from having to buy QT Pro.

Anything you can convert to something iPod compatible, you can view on the new ones, not just videos off iTunes...
