Hi,
I was planning to start studying for the boards over x-mas. Are the kaplan in-center videos + pass program + FA plus Qbank/USMLEworld enough to do well on the boards (ie for a competitive residency) or should I read through all of the Kaplan books too (ugh)!? thanks!

I haven't taken the boards yet, so you can take this with a grain of salt if you like.....As a suggestion, once you get closer to the exam, I would include some sort of question bank such as USMLEWorld or take at least one NBME exam. From reading multiple posts on here, doing lots of questions seemed to help. It also is a more active learning process to make sure you actually retained and can apply the info gained from watching videos and reading (definitely more passive learning). Just a thought. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure there are Kaplan books are correlated to their videos (which reference tables etc), so you would work through them as you view, rather than read them at a seperate sitting.

yea, if your doing the kaplan videos, u might as well listen and follow the lecturer in the corresponding notes.
