I have a question about Kaplan comprehensive videos for ob/gyn, peds, surgery, and psych.

Which ones are good to watch for rotations and step 2?

I watched like 1 video from each section and I was super bored. Those people are really boring compared to the great Conrad Fischer!!!!

However if you guys suggest I watch any of them please let me know

I agree the non-Fischer ones are way more boring. But for me reading a book is 100 times worse than watching a boring lecture.

The peds guy grew on me. He's pretty good. I raped that NBME.

I didn't like the psych lady. The Kaplan Step 1 psych videos are way better.

I didn't care much for Pestana's accent. Eventually I got used to it.

I haven't watched the ob/gyn ones yet.

Ignore the Psych videos. They're basically the dumbed-down version of any review text you can find with the lady speaking to you like you're a 2 year old.

Pestana for surgery is good. Loved him, actually, because while most of his topics are high yield, there are some gems that you'll remember just because you watched his videos (or listened to them on mp3 as I did).

I'm one of those people who can't stand Conrad Fischer's voice, so I can't give you good advice on that one because I eventually had to stop listening to him.
