for Kaplan's PA section for one of their practice tests, i scored a 19. How accurate is this to the real thing?

not very. I was scoring 20-21 on Kaplans PAT the first time I studied and ended up doing poorly on the real PAT. If there is one thing on kaplans PAT that is horrible, its the hole punching. Kaplan's is too easy and will give you a coronary on test day when you see how different hole punching in on the real DAT. I would advise buying Crack dat pat. It is more realistic.

I just scored a 25 on Kaplan's CD test from the blue book, and having taken the real thing once before I can honestly say it was far too easy, borderline joke really. I know last time topscore was a better representation of the real thing but this year I think I will fork over the money for Crack DAT PAT.

However I did manage a 24 on the real thing 😎

I agree with topdent1, Kaplan's hole punching is far easier than the real thing. I was getting 100% on that section for Kaplan, suddenly the real DAT there are 6 holes punched. Wasn't prepared for that and my mind went blank, not a pleasant experience. Somehow I managed to do well on the PAT, similar but slightly below my top Kaplan scores, but I think it would be wise to practice with other study materials so you don't come across something that completely surprises you.

Yea, I would also add that Kaplan's angle rankings are very easy compared to the real thing...

On the real DAT, I think most people score a couple of points below what they were scoring on kaplan practice tests for the PAT section. Kaplan's PAT questions are just too easy compared to the questions you will see on the real exam. For more accurate practice questions/exams, try topscore DAT, DAT achiever or Crack DAT PAT.
