For the ones, who had taken kaplan's section tests (natural science) and real DAT.. what do you guys think about the hardness level of these section tests compare to real DAT? because I have just taken one and I did pretty bad and I have been studying and I was only able to get 60%. 🙁

Thank you,

Probably not as hard as the real DAT. But they are good questions to use for practice. Make sure to use Destroyer. There's no substitute for those practice question. Use Chad's videos as well.

Kaplans section tests can be harder than the real thing, just because of the way the questions are asked, similar info WILL be covered on the DAT. The practice tests are right on the money. G/L

So true! The thing is once you score around 24+ on Kaplan, you are pretty much gauranteed to get a 23 or higher on the real DAT. I scored 27's on Kaplan's tests, and got 26 on the real one. Kaplan has a harder reading section for sure. In addition, the science questions on the real DAT aren't all of the above, none of the above, a and b, etc like Kaplan loves to do. So, really it depends where you are on the scoring spectrum. If you are getting 60% on Kaplan test, you probably will get 80% on the real test. GL

I thought Kaplan was on the money although I thought their reading sections were easier than my DAT.

The only really section I wished I used a different resource is the PAT. Kaplan's angle ranking is a joke.
