Sup guys IMG here 3 months out from sitting Step 1, I ll be finishing uWorld in two weeks then take NBME 7 to see where I stand. Then i ll do USMLE RX so that I can really learn those obscure details in FA... (scheduled it 2 blocks per day for like 4 weeks). Also I ll be done with Pathoma in 2 weeks. Obviously I am going to do uWorld again as well take all the NMBEs. Question is, if you have time, would you do Kapplan Qbank on your weaknesses or just jump into uWorld again (ie. go straight from Rx to World again) ?

It depends on how you are doing with all these things. If you are crushing UW (>80-90% consistently) and your NBMEs are awesome and USMLERx results are good and you feel confident, I would consider moving the test date up. There's no set rule that says you must do things a certain way. If you feel prepared, then you can probably just do it. Otherwise, you may risk being burned out or peaking before the exam.

If you are really dead set on doing all three Qbanks and you are sure you are going to do them, then I would buy them both and do them on a rotation, USMLERx one day then Kaplan the next with some UW repeats of the incorrects or marked thrown in now and then. Different question sources have different styles of asking things. You want to train yourself to be flexible with how you think things through and approach questions.

In that case I am going to stick with the game plan and do Kaplan on my weaknesses after I am done with Rx...
