Kaufman Course

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Although the reason i am NOT attending is not due to cost, it is awfully expensive.

I personally do not learn by someone standing and lecturing for 2 days straight.

Its sad if after 4 years of residency you still need to "learn" neurology from a review course.

People by this point should have learned the concepts and simply have to "review and brush up" on the subtle things that need to be memorized for the test.

I never understood these cram courses if you have not learned it by now you wont over a cram session.

Unempathetic to the kaufmann course? believe me he is raking in and does not need empathy. This was not a shot at anybody here-just personally I feel if 4 years has gone by you are not going to learn it in 2 days if you did not learn in 4 years. If that is no empathy so shoot me

Is this a new course?

Our, seems long ago now, PGY1 and PGY3 residents took a 'kaufmann course' from his books but it was a year long thing and done internally by attendings who were more interested in neuropsych (like myself).

What is the cost and is it only for people taking the boards or do they have refresher/advanced topics type of material?
