FA says steroids are indicated to treat it, along with cyclophos. Goljan says steroids are c/i due to risk of vessel rupture. Anyone know what the right answer is?

In real life (not sure about boards)
you give high does aspirin and IVIG. steroids are hotly debated at this point with some saying to use and others not....I think harriet lane said not to....
anyhow, it is not a sure thing to use steroids

Where does it say that?? Certainly not under KAWASAKI disease section in cardio. Perhaps you are reading treatment for Poly. Nodosa.😕

do you have an old edition of FA? my FA 2009 doesn't say anything about corticosteroids under Kawasaki disease.

my class notes also indicate that aspirin and IVIG are the treatment, with steriods being debateable.

Dr. Jenkins on the DIT videos says Aspirin as well, he said its one of the few times u give aspirin to a really young child.
