I don't think they are sending invites yet

Did you receive one? I would love to interview at KCOM.

Me too, Bone-ster! And I registered for an interview date, too.
Funny thing, Plane tickets to Kirksville, MO show a little over $400, but only $200 into KC, MO. It might be cheaper for me to fly to KC, rent a car to Kirksville and then fly out of KC again.

Congrats Pack! What day did you pick? I'm gonna either fly into KC and drive up to the ville or if I have a travel companion, I might drive up and save some bucks 😱

My sister lives in KC, so I'm going to fly into MCI and then drive up to Kirksville (maybe with my sister's car!) and try to save a little money that way.
I picked Friday, October 6th.
It takes about 3 hours to get from KC to Kirksville, maybe a little less, depending on how you drive.
Assuming a rental car gets 20 mpg, it'll take about 7 1/2 gallons to get to K'ville, the same back. Add a little for running around looking at town, say 18 gallons. At the current local rate of $2.86 per gallon, you'll pay over $50 for gas. Plus $100 to rent the car, you're not far off the cost of flying directly into Kirksville.
Having said that, driving from KC to K'ville will show you just how far from anything big Kirksville really is. That may influence whether you want to come here or not.
And, having said that, KCOM is a fantastic school. I love it here.

I'll see you there, pack! Just scheduled my interview for the 6th. My fiancee has her interview on the 6th as well. I think we'll be flying into KC, so maybe we can carpool 🙂

yes, yes, yes and yes...lol
great school...very far from a big city, but sooooo worth it! congrats to all of you who are getting invites! Can't wait to meet you! 😉 😳 😀Hi, All,
I am a re-applicant for this cycle and I finally have my first interview ever, and it's to KCOM. Needless to say, I'm thrilled and freaking out at the same time.
I wanted to find out who all received an invite today and if they would like to coordinate flight times to maybe split a car rental/hotel room (preferably female)? I'm still trying to pick which date and I guess it would help to talk to someone else who is figuring out the same.
Look forward to hearing and GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE b/c this process sucks ass.

Hey I just received my KCOM interview today. I'm hoping to schedule for Oct 23rd. I have been looking at flights and the latest flight out of Kirksville (that I have found) is at 1:55 pm. Has anyone found a later one?

The flights are few and far between ... and expensive, too. I am flying into Kansas City, MO and driving up the 3 hours to Kirksville.
I think I'll end up driving from Quincy, it shoudn't be too bad
