I'm trying to decide between KCOM CCOM and possibly DMU!! I plan on making another visit to each the week after thanksgiving but in the meantime, any suggestions? Why did you decide the school you did? Do you think the rotations offered by KCOM are just as good as those you would get in Chicago? Although this may change, I'm interested in Radiology, would choosing one of these schools over the other prove more beneficial in getting into a radiology residency?

CCOM has one of the best reputations among DO schools. DMU is not far behind. I'm going to offer the standard advice that is present in each of these school A vs school B threads. Make a list of things that you value, both in a school and in your daily life then compare. Did you feel like you would 'fit' with one better? City life or rural? How is the curriculum different at each? Family/friends in either area? Good luck!

KCOM has a great rep as well. Founding college of osteopathic medicine ... hard to go wrong. You really can't go wrong with this decision. Make it based on the factors beck said, it's wise.

I know a student who graduated from KCOM this last spring and is now doing allo radiology in kansas city. I would bet that there are similar stories from both dmu and ccom. The specific school is not nearly as important as the student in determining what residency they get.

We have great rotation sites at KCOM, but for some reason the website still hasn't posted the newest list. Call the admissions dept. and they will be able to give you a list.

All three schools are well established and will get you to where you want to be. That being said, I'd say go to KCOM (but I am biased, KCOM 2012).

You have a pretty solid choice of schools, I personally like CCOM the most out of the three schools, its in a fairly nice suburb of Chicago.
