Hey. Question to all those who did KCOM's secondary: what's up with the letters of rec? My school has a file that contains all my letters of rec (incl. my employer and pre-med advisor recs). Will they accept this w/o the forms they provided? I mean, all these people have already written me letters, and my pre-med advisor just retired? I am just wonderingh how flexible KCOM is on this. I will call them monday to ask, but it would be a great help if anyone has any insight. Thanks in advance.

Howdy,

Call the Admissions office. Usually, (BUT CALL TO MAKE SURE!) if it is on official lettehead from your U it will be fine.

I agree with BSD, you should call the admissions office for some friendly advice.

To add to his recommedation, I strongly suggest working with a DO for an extended time to get a strong letter from them.

just following up on my own post in case it helps anyone. I called kcom today. They said I could use my schools rec letter service. I just have to have my packet of letters sent, and I have to send KCOM's forms in with my signature to show that i waive any right to see my letters. Thanks for all your advice.
