hey guys, i interviewed at kcom on friday, and they told me that if i get in i need to put $1000 down to secure my place in the class......zoinks! that seems like a lot to me, and i know that allopathic schools put a $100 cap on these payments. wtf.😡

Yep, DO schools require a larger deposit. It has been like that for years.

UHS wants 2K by mid march.

most schools require $2K for your deposit. some require it all at the same time (like wvsom) and some like kcom require a bit at a time... the good thing is it all comes out of your tuition so you basically get reimbursed the $2K when you start.
