Did anyone answer the MCAT/Transcript question? I have no idea how to answer it or if I should. I don't have a good answer for the MCAT other than I just didn't perform well on test day (502) when my FL 1-3 were 510-513. I don't want that to come off as sounding like I'm selling myself too much (even though I am a lot smarter than my test score). Grades are straightforward (3.7c and 3.5s).

Could you be more specific? What does the question actually ask?

Gotcha. I think as long as you're above their cutoff and some major circumstances like the chicago air show didn't occur during your MCAT(that happened to someone on here lol), you should leave it blank. I'll be matriculating at KCU in the fall so if you have any questions about the secondary or interview (hopefully), feel free to PM me.

So if you are a lot better than what you got, why don't you retake it and apply to MD schools?

I had a 500, and though one point below their MCAT cut off, I still got an Interview invite last year to my greatest surprise. I only use that space to explain that English is my second language, and that I had been living in the U.S. for only 6 years (during which I earned 2 bachelor degrees, Bio and Chem, with a 3.7 GPA) which explains why I struggled so much in the CARS section. Ended up being waitlisted, and I'm still on their Waitlist right now loll. Oh well, thank God I had other acceptances.

Fear of doing the same or worse. I’m still competitive for my state MD school and a couple of others due to my ECs so I’m gonna take my shot and see what happens.

I don't remember that being on their secondary application last year though. This prompt was on the AACOMAS primary application in the school specific questions part. I guess it might be different this year.

SDN wisdom has long said to leave this question blank unless you have some serious extenuating circumstances you'd like to explain (like the above poster's explanation about only living in the US for a few years).
