KCUMB interview invite without secondary?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I will accept the invite. but am still interested in Western, PCOM and DMU.I liked the cirriculum, and the students were all incredibly nice. Just felt like it had a good atmosphere. as wellas the high passing rate on the boards. Don'y mind moving for clerkship because i don't know how much I will like living in KC in the first place. Didn't like that they don't have any connections with California for rotations, but can't say that i was surprised. Overall, i feel like I would be very pleased to attend KCUMB.

Me and my wife both got invited for an interview on Oct 19th without submitting secondaries... 🙂 KCUMB is actually our first choice since we have family locally. Does anyone know anything about possible scholarships?

And I think the neighborhood is not that bad. It depends where you're used to living, I guess- if you're from the 'burbs then you probably will be a little hackled.

soundman-

Just drive it. You'll save a lot of money and really 5 hours isn't that bad. Just break it up.

When I came down to KC earlier this summer to visit I had about a 7.5 hour drive, and it was fine. Just bring some tunes, drinks, and food and you're set.

I have about a 5 hour drive coming from TX. I was debating the same thing about whether to drive or fly. Much cheaper to drive so I will do that instead. I love driving though.

Yea me too. And 5 hours sounds like a lot but once you get on the open road the time really flies.

KCUMB must have a good student base from TX, I had about 5+ (out of 20) applicants from there at my interview this last Tuesday! Interesting...

five hours from texas to kc! wow, you must be a fast driver. 🙂

On second thought, I confused the numbers. Its about 500 miles for me and about 8 hours to Kansas city.
