Does anyone else have a KCUMB interview on 1/22. Where I live and in Kansas City there could be about 1 to 3 inches of snow by Sunday, which is when I was expecting on making the 61/2 hour drive. I have never traveled out of town when there was snow on the ground, and I was just wondering what everyone else is doing. Thanks!

Eww, that sucks. This is one of the biggest things Im not looking forward to when I move away from the good ole south to KC. I dont really have an answer for ya, lol. Just figured Id lament with you.

I just had my interview this week. I would definitely keep an eye on the weather, it was pretty much all ice rather than snow. Good luck with the interview, though!

Where are you coming from? They are saying on the weather that it should be all coming overnight on Saturday and be done by Sunday morning...

If that's the case, I don't expect much of a problem, especially on the interstates...

I will be coming from southern Indiana. Maybe I should just leave tomorrow rather than on Sunday?

im flying in from ORD. i leave ohare at 3pm. hopefully that is

GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the weather forecasts are in
a) the bears are going to win!
b) its only 1-3 inches of snow
so even if it does snow, its nothing spectacular. you should be fine. its expected to fall anywhere from 9 am to 3 pm. with a 6.5 hr drive you should plan to leave your house by noon at the latest and try to drive while theres still daylight. it makes it 100x easier.

Okay, I need to vent because I am originally from Chicago, but have spent the last 5 years in Indiana going to school. Indiana people freak out when they get a half inch of snow. This mixed with the weird obsession for pickup trucks makes for a bad combination.

by the way....Go BEARS...beat Peyton Manning

I interviewed there are on the 22nd. What'd ya think of the school?

The school itself was small (I attribute that to a lack of a podiatry, PA, or Psy D program), but on the other hand I thought the people were really nice.
