Hey I havent seen a thread for this program, not sure if I missed it. Have heard that the program has a pretty tight unofficial linkage with KCUMB. I just got accepted and noticed they state a required 3.25 sci gpa as well as a bunch of other minimum requirements for acceptance into their D.O. Wonder if these are flexible?

I'm wondering the same thing. I've also been accepted to this program and noticed all the minimums in the email. Mission trip? I don't know if I can afford that if I'm about to borrow $40-45K for their 1 year program! My biggest issue now is trying to decide between this or an MPH at KU Med because I'm applying to medical school this summer.

Are you going to the open house they are having on the 24th for accepted students?

I am an applicant to this program as well. How long after you submitted your application did you receive a decision? Also do you know of any opportunities for scholarship/graduate assistantships as a student in this program?

About 3 weeks I think. Wait listed, then offered a seat a few days ago. I'm going to wait until after the open house to decide. I would really love to do this program, but the cost is killing me!

I dont think so, I cant afford it if the minimum requirements they list are accurate. I feel like with those stats I wouldnt even need the MS to be a succesful applicant for the D.O program.
