What exactly to the residents and program directors mean when they keep saying how important it is to "keep in touch" before the match. What is appropriate to say and how do you avoid being annoying or intrusive.
Any advice welcome. Thanks.

Appropriate: second look, note to PD, return call when residents or faculty call you to see if you have any questions.

Inappropriate: stalking, dropping by unannounced, etc.

Remember, it's a MATCH. Programs are as interested in knowing how you feel about them as you are in how they feel about you.

i think a note/email/letter is a nice way of telling them ure still very interested without being disruptive. a 2nd look is a very good way too.

anybody still receiving phone calls and emails from potential prgms???

I have been receiving phone calls and emails from various programs. Last one was today (Valentine's Day).

do you think most prgm's rank lists are finalized yet?
