Keyhole Achiever Question

Can someone please tell me why E NOT the answer, and why D is?


I am having trouble understanding a lot of these keyhole problems. Can someone give me some advice?

D could be the answer if nothing was sticking out ( if it was just a circle).. Look closely at E the edge of the big one slides perfectly and so does the rest of the figure (the stick on top and another little one that's attached to it

I just checked on Achiever, and D is the answer... I think E would not be the answer because the top of the object is smaller than the bottom of the keyhole on E, you can see it should be much smaller than the big rectangle...

I think it is because the top piece on E is too big relative to the middle piece.

If you measured the length of the little piece (that's sticking out) and compare it to the radius of the circle, you'll see that the little piece is longer, and therefore it will stick out 🙂
