I have one, exact same model number you mention. It doesn't say anything about soft gum, Seems like it is. Don't know the difference very well. The one I used for UTHSCSA exam was more soft so it might be the harder type.

I bought it last month and used to practice for some preps.
So i used 7 teeth! Everything else is perfect, looking brand new, gums intact.
You can buy teeth separately.
I bought it for 130. Would be willing to sell it for 60U$ plus shipping. With the difference you get the teeth.
In fact, the preps might even be useful.. They are very good and have been reviewed, some of them even prepared by an ex faculty of UOP/ UCSF who tutored me
