Kill Bill

Me and my girlfriend have just finished watching Kill Bill volume 1. This movie was different, I thought it was pretty good. However, every scene where a limb was slashed off there was a dipiction of arterial pressure shooting off liters of blood. As a pre-med I am curious as to if arterial blood pressure is so great that a slash to it results in great amounts of squirting. Using my physics and chemistry knowledge I feel that internal blood pressure would immediently equalize outside pressure.

1) Your physics and chemistry knowledge are leaving out the heart pump that provides pressure each beat.

2) Its a Tarantino movie. Are you going to debate the realism of a Marvel movie next?

3) Drunk posting on SDN is bad.
