I am 30 years old, just finished my sciences, GPA about 3.3 and PCAT 63 composite. I have worked in the pharmacy for 4 years.
Does anyone have an opinion for me?
I know the PCAT score is a bit low, but I really am trying not to wait another year to get in.
What do you think??

I know a person or two that got accepted with a PCAT score somewhere in the 60's (not really sure, but it was 60-something). Some pharmacy experience (not the 4 years you have).

So basically, don't let your score get you down. It can still happen 🙂 Depends on the school you're applying to...they're all different. Some require a 70 composite...so check on that so as to not waste your time.

you have the exact average stat of an accepted auburn pharmacy student. Most schools have close to the same average, auburn just doesn't lie about it. Most schools say they average above an 80 pcat score and around a 3.5, but statistically only a certain number of people can make over 80. Apply several places and you should get in somewhere.

I got in with a high of 64. So it is possible. Plus I have been invited to seven different schools to interview.

So I think if matters to some schools but not all schools, to have a high PCAT score.
