Ya know, we would get a lot more done if we spent all this energy trying to argue over MD vs DO on helping each other out on accomplishing the one goal that is one in the same for all of us.... becoming a physician.

Good luck to everyone; we're all stressed here. Let's help each other through it instead of comparing useless numbers. The only thing those numbers are good for is getting you in the door so you can tell them how badly you want to become a physician.

I think georgesltd56 says it best. There are better things to do than argue over MD/DO.

In the other thread, you talk about being a future DO primary care provider..Yet your name says "MD2B"....How about that MCAT? 😎

It's just a username on an internet posting board dude. It's not definitive of anything. And, what about the MCAT???

I'm going to be a DOCTOR. I don't know or care what the initials are going to be. Anyone who does care doesn't have a clue about the real world. As long as you're licensed in the US to practice medicine, what difference is it to everyone?

I guarantee the conflict that everyone has with the letters will go away when you grow up and mature a little. Once you get older, you'll have much more important things to bitch about.
