How's everyone doing out there? Anybody know anything about La Salle's post-bacc. I know that it is not as high profile as some others but they have a good looking shadowing program and I think are a decent undergrad school. Has anyone heard anything....?

Hi there-
I'm in the first year of the LaSalle program. But one could choose to do it in 1 year. The showdowming program is silly; it's just following a doc around for 4 hours a week. You do not do annything.
They do have a linkage with robert wood johnson (NOT a guarenteed linkage). LaSalle has some great points and some bad points. If you have more specific questions I'd love to answer them. When selecting a PB it really depends on your academic background and what you plan on getting out of it.

Thanks for answering. I guess I want to know the gist of the program..are the classes/teachers good, do you like the atmosphere of the school, how is the advising, do they know what they are doing and do you think they prepare you well for med school. I am looking for a PB for those with no real science background. Also, as you stated, what are the negatives that you feel detract from the school/program...and how is living in Philly? Thanks again.
