Where can I information/or would someone be able to post what each equipment is used for? I know I can look that up online and I know what most are all used for but they're not exactly specific to the measurements if that makes sense?

For example, I thought a buret was only specific for titrations for its specific solution measurements. So I would only choose buret for when a question would be like "If a chemist needed to titrate 12mL of xx what equipment does he use." So when I came across a question asked which laboratory equipment to use to measure 12.52 mL of solution (and no mention of titration)I didnt choose buret, but that was the correct answer. When is it okay (or is it ever ok) to measure with a graduated cylinder vs a buret or like when I'm transferring X amount of liquid how do I know to use a beaker vs like a erlenmeyer flask etc.etc....volumetric flask, a regular pipet, ....all these things that you can think of? Are they specific as to the transfer/measure method and the amount. For ex: measuring vs transferring 500 mL vs measuring 500.25mL, would they be different?! It makes me nervous the possibilities of questions they could ask.

Thank you!
