Lamotrigine and Carbamazepine

Can you give Lamotrigine and Tegretol together to a PT with General tonic clonic seizures? Thank you!

The initial FDA indication for Lamotrigine was adjunctive therapy for partial seizures (including secondarily generalized tonic clonic seizures) in patients taking enzyme-inducing AEDs. A large percentage of those patients were taking carbamazepine with adjunctive lamotrigine.

The question does not seem appropriate for this board.
