What laptop did you go with for Wingate? What would you change about your laptop if you could. Also, can you tell me about the laptop bags that Mutual Drug supplies to you? What size laptop will it hold? Does it have plenty of other storage? Is it nice or would you get a different one? Please elaborate as much as you like. Thanks for the help!! 🙂

Most everybody has Dells... but they tend to malfunction. Mine is one that my dad had built for me, and its been outstanding. In all honesty, just pick one that you're comfortable with (screen/keyboard size, weight, etc), and then make sure it has all the requirements that Wingate asks for. You'll use the laptop CONSTANTLY, so it should be something you are comfortable with.

The bags from Mutual are huge... plenty of room for the largest laptop you could find with additional space for at least two binders plus all accessories for the laptop. Padded shoulder straps too 🙂 They're actually really nice bags... a lot of people still use theirs, even after the first year.

Just remember that you will be using your laptop for EVERYTHING.
A few people have tablet PCs, and I sorta wish I had gotten one. They are more expensive but really useful. I have a Dell 700m and am very happy with it. It is a very small screen, but ultra portable. The only people I have heard with regrets about their laptops are people that have 17inch screens or really heavy 15inchers. Just too much to lug around. Whatever you get make sure you get the best service plan you can.

As for the bags. I think the quality might vary from year to year. I've gone through 3 Mutual bags so far this year. The first two have just completely fallen apart after about a months use, and the third bag, which they sent as a replacement bag, felt so cheap that I only used it once.
