Soooooo
I know that some grad programs place most emphasis on one's junior and senior year (last 2 years of undergrad). I am currently in my 5th year.

They say last 10 credits; but see last year I took 9 half-credits and this year I'm planning to take 8 half-credits. Thats 4.5 + 4 = 8.5 credits rather than 10.

Does that look bad? Would grad schools care? For the ones that say last 10 credits do you think they'd look back at my 3rd year? I don't want them to do that -- that's the year I was diagnosed with MS and so you know, my grades slipped yes? Kinda emotional havoc for a bit.

Basically: 1st year = 3.68/4, then 2nd year = 3.54/4, then 3rd year = 3.31/4 (see it was the MS), 4th year = 3.76/4 <-- picked up nicely eh?, now 5th year current (so much as I know) = 4.0/4

But I know I posted a long time back whether I should mention the whole MS thing. People said it's not the best idea to bring it up or mention...but... I mean it brings down my overall GPA so much 🙁 It's detrimental...if only they wouldn't include it in calculating my overall GPA ...*SIGH*

I'm stressin....should I take courses in the summer so it = 10 before applying? or does it not matter at all?
Anyway, on a good side: I got some good progress on my crazy isn't crazy really essay so far! woot 🙂

Thanks for any help/advice
What do you guys think?

usually it's last 60 credits, which tends to be last 2 years...

In the grand scheme of things I'd think the GPA isn't a huge deal, as long as you are in the 3.5 range. I don't think GPA will *get* you an interview, but it sure can keep you from an interview.
