Hello everyone,
On behalf of the Office of Admissions at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, I am giving a "last chance" warning for desirable applicants who want to get some last-minute advice about their application to dental school with insights of the perspective of an admissions office when it comes to viewing applications. This year's webchat will focus on the specific characteristics of desirable applications from our process which may or may not represent the perspective of other schools. Due to capacity of the webserver, we are issuing tickets limited by time zone, and we have limited tickets left for eastern time participants.
Registration for this session will close soon, and next week those individuals with tickets will be sent the weblink to join the webchat on Sunday, June 1. This session includes unpublished data in the process of being packaged into a publication, so this session may be recorded but not released to the public afterwards. Consequently, all individuals must agree to a non-disclosure statement and waiver of participation. Communication will be done by text and not through webcameras (unlike the online mock interview workshops) to a webinar with an audio track.
While casual attendees are welcome, intended participants should be highly motivated applicants with a strong desire to attend CWRU SODM and consider themselves desirable and competitive applicants for our process. We will NOT go over standard information that is easily researched through the ADEA Guide, our materials on our website, our materials in our ADEA Predental Student Fair virtual booth, or other presentations we have suggested for competitive applicants to our program.
(This thread will not be monitored, so any followup questions will not be answered here. I want to enjoy my Memorial Day weekend before the AADSAS 2015 cycle starts.)
