Hey guys,

So due to a medical illness, I was only able to study 2.5 weeks for Step I. I can't really postpone it without postponing my 3rd year, and I only want to pass.

2 weeks ago, I took NMBE 11, and got 184, about four days later (NMBE 12), it was 193, and just today (NMBE 15) it was 203.

I will definitely look at all the subjects I am weak in from the NMBE, but in general, since 203 obviously means I'm missing some 'easy' questions too - what's the HY review for that if I have about four days before the exam? A quick read through pathoma or Goljan? As much of first aid as possible? Or really knock out HY things on back of first aid, etc? Maybe go through a bunch of Uworld explanations?

For the record, my studying so far has been basically 3-4 UWORLD sets a day, and then First Aid and a little bit of Pathoma. I'm like 90% through UWORLD, and I'll definitely finish that.

I'd appreciate any help.

Sorry to hear about your illness. I would say do pathoma for sure (1.67X speed) and re-read FA. If you have time, go over the blue boxes/side notes in Goljan.
Good luck

Thank you for your help. I actually haven't listen to pathoma yet (just read it, except one section which I listened to) due to the time issue. Worth listening to or just reading is OK?

How many days do you have left? How much pathoma do you have left? I personally did not think too highly of the neuro section. Peronsally, I think pathoma is great, but I'm not sure if I would use it this close.

My suggestion would be to drill absolutely everything in first aid you havent committed to memory. Good luck to u
