Hi, Im finishing up first year of undergrad and am glad to say that my grades are looking better than first semester. In first semester, I received a C in chem 1 and C+ in calc 1. I was wondering if it would be worth it to retake chem 1 this spring to raise my science gpa? It was 3.070 last semester, and hopefully a bit higher right now.
Im a Canadian student, and will be hopefully applying for Canadian schools. This means I need at least a 3.8+ gpa by the time I apply. US schools are my second choice. With that in mind, would it be worth it to retake chem 1 for a course fee of $700? How will it affect my overall gpa by the time I apply? I cannot promise anyone (including myself) that I will get straight As for the next 2 years because quite frankly that's not very likely. Help is appreciated.
