I'm applying this year and taking some 100 and 200 level courses this fall semester. Do dental schools care that they're not upper level? Thanks.

Are those science courses? If you are still taking 100 level basic science courses (the ones required for admission, e.g. Chem 101) then it seems like you're applying to early.

nah, they're just electives. I already finished the pre-reqs.

i took a freshman level course my senior year and my pre-health advisor gave me a really weird look. she asked me why i was taking the course. i told her it was so i could review for my DAT. THEN... she she asked me if i was taking it to get an easy A 😛
