I am number two on a waitlist for a program that begins August 28th. I really really want to be accepted. Do I even have a chance at being accepted with the start date being only 6weeks away? Any thoughts or experiences would be much appreciated.

Who knows... But I would contact the school about any immediate updates. I would also ask if there was any way of petitioning for additional seats to be open within the program. You may never know, they just might. Good luck.
