Unfortunately I submitted my application for the committee letter too late. I am guessing they will be mailing out the committee letter in mid-September. I am also taking my DAT for the first time in early-August.
As you can see my application for dental schools is considered “late.”
I want to hear from people who were in a similar time frame as mine about their acceptance into dental schools. (I am applying for University of Maryland.)

I took dat in september and schools didnt get completed app until october last year. I applied to 7 schools. Got late denials on most as they all said my application was late and classes were pretty full at their school. I got an interview from my instate school and they denied as they wanted me to take more classes. I applied really late (mid-jan) to one more school, got an interview for waitlist, then got pulled off the waitlist. You are applying a little late but until you get denied, you always have a chance. I had a friend who had the same time frame as me and got an interview late november and accepted dec 1st.

its not a good situation to be in. If matters what your DAT score and GPA is. If you have a 3.7 and up and have a 20+ on the DAT then I think you would get some late interviews and maybe one or two acceptances. I know quite a few who have gotten with late interviews, it is rare but it could happen if you have the stats.
