What is considered a late DO application? I have my application complete but my top choice is requiring a letter from a DO physician so I have yet to submit it. I am shadowing one right now and hoping to ask him for a letter of recommendation within the next few weeks and am nervous that this may put me behind. I have a 3.95 GPA and 502 MCAT.

The deadline I see all over SDN for DO is Thanksgiving. Use the search function.

For some good light, I wasn't complete until late September/ early October and got accepted. Good luck

Thanks for the insight! The deadline for my top choice is actually February 1st. So I still have a ton of time but I know my chances get dimmer the longer I wait.

You should Submit your application and add throw away school so it gets verified and then add your top choice when you get DO LOR.

From what my advisor told me is thar later in the cycle schools will get pickier. Where like earlier anything over 500 works. Later they want every section at least over 125. But you have a strong GPA. So you should be okay

You're fine, stop worrying. I would broach the subject of a letter sooner, just IMO
