Hi all! I am in the current cycle with cGPA 3.55 with an upward trend, sGPA 3.5 and my MCAT was a 507. I applied to primarily osteopathic programs and fortunately was accepted to four programs. Needless to say I am super excited and relieved. I applied to very minimal MD schools primarily in my home state of Pennsylvania. Specifically I am waiting to hear back Temple, SKMC and PSU.

So it comes down to the fact that I need to place a deposit or second deposit at a program rather quickly. Due to finical constraints, especially after the costs of attending my other interviews, this has not been an easy task. By this point in the cycle is it reasonable to have an interview offer extended from a MD institution? Thanks for any input.

It’s pretty late but you never know. Have you looked at the school, specific threads to see if they are still offering invites at this point or if they are done interviewing?

For all the schools that end interviewing in Feb, yes its too late. For those that go into March, you got 2-3 weeks left.

It seems very unlikely at this point that you would get an MD interview. I suggest putting down your deposit for a DO school.
